Due to recent McAfee software update(December 2014) may your computer lose internet connectivity. There is an issue with your network connection. When your windows is starting , you can see the error message in your web browser, or notifications.
You may fix the network connectivity by following described steps below , when you are not able to access the internet.
Connect the internet in safe mode with networking
Start the windows in troubleshooting modes through Advanced Boot Options menu. Select the Safe Mode with Networking option that starts the windows in a limited state where only the bare essentials are started. If a recurring problem does not appear when you start in safe mode ,then you can choose default setting and basic device drivers as possible cause for the issue.
- Restart your computer.
- Press F8 key as soon as computer starts up several times until the Advance Boot Option menu appear.
- Press the arrow keys on the advanced Boot Option to highlight the Safe Mode with Networking and press the Enter key.
- As your computer start in Safe Mode, open the web browser and try to access internet. If now internet are accessible , then run the McAfee fixes.
